Tournament Updates

Checkout the cool artwork from Shavonne for this years tournament. Thanks to her for working up this custom piece again this year!!

Tournament discs are on the way. We have Innova-Champion Fundraiser Max and Leopards that will be here soon.
Great news that we have Minimum $1500 added cash with the recent commitment from RockStar Energy Drink!!! This will be the largest Mountain High purse so far. Still need some individual sponsors to help sweeten the pot.

Summit Course Play

Snow has melted off the entire summit course (minus a couple small patches surely to be gone this week).

Ben & I played on Sunday the 18th and battled some serious winds on a beautiful day. Van also came along for the hike.

Wildflowers are popping up all over the place and add to the enjoyment!!

Thomas & John came up and played a round on July 10th while helping me dial in some of the teepads and basket placements.

Good Times!!

Another group of diehards (Ken, Paul, Brent & crew) came up and hiked to the top to play the Summit Course. Ken & Paul played the top 3 days straight... Lots of mileage.

Recent Action

Take a look as some photos from Randy & Friends assault on the Lower Course.

Keep the photos coming. I'll do my best to post.
We are expecting some reports and awesome photos from the Summit Course this weekend.
Current best score on the Summit Course-Front 9 is +3. I'll be waiting for a report after the weekend to see if someone tops it. Still yet to have a total score on 18 off the top.
Alpine Inn/Snorting Elk Summer Rock n Roll Party on Saturday. Great way to cap off a day of Crystal Mountain Disc Golf. Outdoor bbq, live music and plenty of drinks!!

Get registered now for the 2010 MOUNTAIN HIGH TOURNAMENT.

Online registration from PDGASIGNUP should be active soon.

Please note that all registrations will include 1 lift ticket(hence the fee increase).

Get ready 2 seperate 18 hole courses for the Tournament. This should be an awesome event.

Please note that we do not have a "Junior" divisions this year. I do not want to send a group of Juniors to the top of Crystal without some supervision.

If you are/have a Junior that is interested and capable of playing the Crystal Course during the Tournament, please register as Intermediate.

Big thanks to TIMS CASCADE SNACKS for the sponsorship of our tournament this year. Keep them in mind the next time you are shopping for snacks..

Get your registrations in soon!! Day of registration may not be available if the event fills up.

HOLE #2 (2005)

Jeff, Ben & I setup the Summit Course on Saturday July 3rd. Thanks a ton for your help guys...

Now we have 27 holes of Disc Golf at Crystal!!

Please note that there is still A LOT of snow on the Summit Course. Hole #3(fairway & green) is 100% covered. Everything else is mostly melted out other than a few large snowpatches on #2.

Be prepared to hike and play on snow.

All the tee pads are marked, some will be moved to a better spot with snowmelt.

Lower course is mostly snowfree except for a little bit on #7, 8 & 11.

Chairlift Rides for the Summit Course are available on Saturdays & Sundays for $20. You can hike to the top for free but that would be quite a day to hike up and then play down.

Make sure you stop by the Alpine Inn and Snorting Elk when you come up. Give us some feedback about the course. If you get some cool pictures, email them to me and I'll try to post here.

Hope to see you soon.

Work Party Thanks

Thanks to everyone that showed up for the 2010 Work Party.

There is still snow on #6-9, 11 & 12 but will hopefully melt off soon (if it would actually quit snowing).

After the work, it was time for the PARTY!! Great brews from Full Sail Brewing helped quench the thirst and ease the pain from all the lifting....

We busted out the BBQ Grill and had some awesome grub.

See Jeff with a Burger Dog (Cheeseburger add hot dogs!!)

Summit Course should be setup by July 4th weekend. Get ready for the Legendary Crystal Mountain Course

We are running a basket fundraiser project for 9 baskets for the Summit Course. $200 donation gets us a basket and you a 2 Night Hotel Certificate in exchange for your thanks. Your certificate is actually worth more than $200. Now thats a deal. Help out the sport and our course while getting something in return. Contact if you are interested in contributing.

New "Sorting Elk Cellar/Crystal Mountain Disc Golf" discs are in from Innova. Checkout the Champion Destroyers, Pro Katana, DX Roc & Avair

Make sure to stop by the Snorting Elk Cellar or our Crystal Hotels Registration office when you come up to play. We will have discs available in both locations.

Get Ready for Summer Disc Golf At Crystal

Still snowing on the mountain but plans are in full force for summer Disc Golf at Crystal..

We are very excited to have the chairlifts running on both Saturdays and Sundays from June 26-Sept 4th this summer.

The Summit Course will be back in!! Ride the chairlift and Play 18 holes of disc golf from the top of Crystal.

Lower Mountain course opens June 15th 2010. Depending on snowpack, there still could be some snowcover on the lower course. There will be a re-route of holes 17 & 18 (for some or all of the summer) due to the construction of the new "Mt. Rainier Gondola"

The new Mt. Rainier Gondola will expand our Disc Golf opportunities at Crystal. The gondola will be ready for the coming winter ski season 2010-11 and open for summer 2011.

We will get the Summit Course open as soon as snowpack allows, I would guess open on July 4th weekend.

Mountain High Disc Golf Tournament Dates: Aug 28th & 29th. Plan on having 2 seperate 18 hole courses to play.

Keep in touch for updates. 360-663-2262.

Make sure you stop by the Alpine Inn Restaurant and Snorting Elk Cellar when you are up at Crystal.

I'll post again in the next few weeks.
