SUMMIT COURSE IS OPEN!!

HOLE #2 (2005)

Jeff, Ben & I setup the Summit Course on Saturday July 3rd. Thanks a ton for your help guys...

Now we have 27 holes of Disc Golf at Crystal!!

Please note that there is still A LOT of snow on the Summit Course. Hole #3(fairway & green) is 100% covered. Everything else is mostly melted out other than a few large snowpatches on #2.

Be prepared to hike and play on snow.

All the tee pads are marked, some will be moved to a better spot with snowmelt.

Lower course is mostly snowfree except for a little bit on #7, 8 & 11.

Chairlift Rides for the Summit Course are available on Saturdays & Sundays for $20. You can hike to the top for free but that would be quite a day to hike up and then play down.

Make sure you stop by the Alpine Inn and Snorting Elk when you come up. Give us some feedback about the course. If you get some cool pictures, email them to me and I'll try to post here.

Work Party Thanks

Thanks to everyone that showed up for the 2010 Work Party.

There is still snow on #6-9, 11 & 12 but will hopefully melt off soon (if it would actually quit snowing).

After the work, it was time for the PARTY!! Great brews from Full Sail Brewing helped quench the thirst and ease the pain from all the lifting....

We busted out the BBQ Grill and had some awesome grub.

We are running a basket fundraiser project for 9 baskets for the Summit Course. $200 donation gets us a basket and you a 2 Night Hotel Certificate in exchange for your thanks. New "Sorting Elk Cellar/Crystal Mountain Disc Golf" discs are in from Innova. Checkout the Champion Destroyers, Pro Katana, DX Roc & Avair

Make sure to stop by the Snorting Elk Cellar or our Crystal Hotels Registration office when you come up to play. We will have discs available in both locations.

Get Ready for Summer Disc Golf At Crystal

Still snowing on the mountain but plans are in full force for summer Disc Golf at Crystal..

We are very excited to have the chairlifts running on both Saturdays and Sundays from June 26-Sept 4th this summer.

The Summit Course will be back in!! Ride the chairlift and Play 18 holes of disc golf from the top of Crystal.

Lower Mountain course opens June 15th 2010. Depending on snowpack, there still could be some snowcover on the lower course. There will be a re-route of holes 17 & 18 (for some or all of the summer) due to the construction of the new "Mt. Rainier Gondola"

The new Mt. Rainier Gondola will expand our Disc Golf opportunities at Crystal. The gondola will be ready for the coming winter ski season 2010-11 and open for summer 2011.

We will get the Summit Course open as soon as snowpack allows, I would guess open on July 4th weekend.

Mountain High Disc Golf Tournament Dates: Aug 28th & 29th. Plan on having 2 seperate 18 hole courses to play.

Crystal Mountain Disc Golf Course is Closed for the Winter

"Super Dave" and I pulled the baskets yesterday in a blizzzzzard...

Glad we got it all done because there is 4-5 inches of fresh snow on the hill today.

Course is scheduled to re-open June 15 2010.

Thanks to all those who came up and supported Crystal Mountain Disc Golf.

Stop by the Snorting Elk Cellar if you are up this winter.

Only a Few Weeks Left

Fall is here for sure and we have a little snow halfway up at Crystal today.

Crystal Mountain Disc Golf Course will be open for a few more weeks at the max. Make sure to call or check this site for updates if you are coming up anytime after mid October. 360-663-2262.

We had a great tournament again this year and are planning another event or two next summer. Thanks to all those that came up to play at Crystal this year!!

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

There is a Casual Doubles group planning to start at 2:00pm on Friday. Should give enough time to play a round before dark.

Registration and checkin party at the Snorting Elk on Friday night. We would like to get as many as possible checked in early.
